About

Epic Films is a production company based in Adelaide, Australia that produces films of epic quality. Established by Kirsty Stark and Vivyan Madigan in 2010, Epic Films works with local directors and crew to bring quality scripts and ideas to the screen.

Our first two short films, Landscape Scene and L’Artiste!were completed in 2011.  Both shot on s16mm, they have played in festivals worldwide, picking up several awards along the way.

Our follow-up short films, The Beekeeper and Mrs. Peterson’s Birthday will be released in 2012.

In January 2012, we released the Prologue for Wastelander Panda, the tale of the last remaning panda in a post-apocalyptic Wasteland. The Prologue was a great success, with over 100,000 views in its first five days online, leading to a three-part web series that will be shot in late 2012. Visit wastelanderpanda.com for details.
